Rob Jacobus.- Ravens New Assistant Head Coach

Starting coaching football at the high school level in the early 80's starting out at Piedmont High School then eventually as the head coach of Acalanes High School (in Lafayette) in 1989.  Have spent time also at DVC, SMC, Miramonte High School in Orinda as well coaching both football and Rugby throughout the years.
 
First started coaching minor league football with the East Bay Buccaneers in the mid 90's where Boots James was actually one of the players (previous coach of the Nor Cal Lawmen) and eventually joined his staff after a few other stops along the way.  Also coached for several years at the "Next Nine" camp which was in Lake Tahoe each summer working with college level QB's, those who were next in line and not invited to the "Elite Eleven" program of more notoriety.  Coached QB's with John Paye (Stanford/49ers/USFL) and also with legendary QB coach (Cal Berkeley) Roger Theder.

The Solano Ravens are holding tryout's on OCT. 4th, & 11th 2009 at CORBUS FIELD in Vallejo, CA. (Corbus Field - Vallejo High School. 840 Nebraska St. Vallejo, CA 94590) Tryout's will be held from 10AM-1PM. There will be a mandatory tryout fee of $30 for new and returning players.
