Ravens say goodbye to old and hello to new 07-10-2009
The Solano Ravens are proud to announce ownership changes and coaching changes that will help propel them for the 2010 season. Head Coach and owner Chris Navarro has resigned from ownership and coaching duties,and will be replaced by long time player and coach from the Norcal Lawmen, Bill Carlen to take over head coaching duties. With Bill the Ravens have also brought in long time coach, Rob Jacobus from the Norcal Lawmen to help with the coaching duties. Bill and Rob both bring in a lot of experience and knowledge and with them at the helm, we are ready to make a championship run for the 2010 season. New owner Chad Mason will take over GM duties for the Ravens along with current owner and player Lavail Marshal. Together, they hope to bring a winning championship semi-pro football team back to Solano County. Resigning out of the NCFL the Ravens have joined the PCFL. The PCFL has joined forces with one of the longest and stable leagues in NORCAL the CVFL-Central Valley Football League. This Alliance brings over30 teams together under the MLFA making it one of the biggest leagues in America! The Pacific Coast Football League and Central Valley Football League are finalizing the details with each other and the MFLA. TheMLFA was meant to bring together teams and leagues to play nationally in post season play-offs. With the two leagues completing the details; along with 3 other leagues; the MLFA is shaping up to be the Premier League Leader in the Nation.
